Xero guides · Australia

The gap between a bank statement and Xero-ready data

Bank feeds are built for ongoing bookkeeping. These guides cover the awkward jobs they do not finish: old transactions, missing feed lines, closed accounts, PDF-only records and years of catch-up work.

AussieBankStatements is the only converter built exclusively for Australian bank statements. Each supported bank has its own parser, refined against that bank's real statement layouts instead of a generic international extraction model.

Can Xero import a PDF bank statement?

No. Xero's standard manual statement-import workflow does not accept it. Xero lists OFX, QFX, QIF, CSV and QuickBooks as supported formats and tells customers whose transactions are only available as PDF to search for a third-party conversion service.

Honest comparisons

See all comparisons

AussieBankStatements is built to be the most accurate and private choice for the Australian banks it supports. The comparison is not based on claiming every bank in the world. It is based on specialising, checking the statement maths, refusing results that do not reconcile, and never storing the original PDF.

Questions people ask

What problem does AussieBankStatements solve for Xero users?

It turns Australian PDF bank statements into structured, categorised CSV data for the jobs a live feed cannot complete: old periods, missing lines, closed accounts, client handovers and catch-up bookkeeping.
